Ph.D. student selected for Internship at National Institute of Informatics (NII),Japan

Siddharth Chaudhary, Ph.D. student in RSGIS, School of Engineering and Technology has been selected by National Institute of Informatics (NII), Japan (  for 3 month paid internship. He will be working under the supervision of Prof Michael Houle (  in the field of data mining and machine learning. Currently he is doing his research on hyperspectral sensors under the guidance of Dr Sarawut Ninsawat and Prof Tai Nakamura.  As Japan’s only general academic research institution seeking to create future value in the new discipline of informatics, National Institute of Informatics (NII) seeks to advance integrated research and development activities in information-related fields, including networking, software, and content.
